From everything that he was able to read about his particular experience, it appeared to be related to a form of tuning into some out-of-body intelligence that channeled information. In practice, it became an intensive process of questioning and noting down answers as they were spelled out on the circular chart with the letters of the alphabet. In Robert’s case, however, it was made clear at the outset that he had to do his own careful analysis. The information that he was given needed to be expanded, assimilated, and researched further to make sense. But he managed to get better at doing this with more practice. The pendulum moved rapidly as it spelled out the words but he became accustomed to efficiently memorizing the content and writing it down. His notebook quickly filled up with new concepts, ideas, and expressions.
What he learned about the brain was that there were two of them – an outer and an inner brain. At first, Robert thought that the inner part referred to some kind of Jungian or Freudian subconscious. But this was refuted and he was directed to arrive at a different interpretation. The outer brain was simply the conscious biological processor that operated through a network of neurons, synapses, and electrochemical links. With all the new medical equipment, like fMRIs, our cognitive abilities were being mapped and understood to a greater extent.
Robert discovered that this physical computer-like organ was connected to something intangible. This was described as the inner brain. With time, Robert began to understand how the two interacted with each other. He was led to conclude that whether we’re aware of the inner brain or not its influence is profound. This is particularly true when the outer brain is in a calm state and not rapidly processing information. It happens during meditation, deep sleep, and quiet moments of inner reflection.
The inner brain is actually our direct connection to a universal intelligence and gives us the ability to access its accumulated wisdom and knowledge. With some prodding, Robert was able to visualize this as an intelligent energy cell. He later discovered that this cell was encoded with our previous lives’ accumulated wisdom. Depending on the spiritual progress made in our past lives, each of us enters the new life cycle with different levels of wisdom. The most important of which is a conscious realization of our union with a higher intelligence whose essence is love.
It impressed Robert that what we do in this life actually matters and is expressed by love-driven intentions and actions at every level of society. Furthermore, this principle applies not only to this planet but is dominant throughout the vast expanse of the universe.
Robert knew that when talking with Simon his findings would be derided as being out of touch with current astro and quantum physics. “You can’t speak of there being just a single universe anymore. That’s so outdated,” he would say. The latest research revolves around multiverses and string theory.
Robert would always answer in a self-deprecating way by saying, “What do you expect from a businessman with just a high school knowledge of physics? I just write this stuff down and hope that I can somehow prove it later.”
Simon would sarcastically answer, “Good luck with that, Dad. But if I was you, I’d keep a tight lid on all these findings. You don’t want people to get the impression that you’re losing your marbles.”
And yet this banter with Simon did not discourage Robert. He has done enough research on current trends in physics to conclude that new ones are popping up all the time. Not being part of the scientific establishment gives him much latitude in just accepting what he doesn’t yet fully understand. For the time being, he doesn’t care if it’s totally out of sync with the perceived current dogmas. He also finds it rather entertaining to taunt Simon while at the same time getting his more-educated feedback on physics. He also thinks that Simon may be getting a kick out of this in his own way. It probably makes him feel superior to the old man.
Frankly, Robert has become more and more convinced that the scientific information that he’s getting may be more interesting than the spiritual part. The latter tended to coincide with much of what has already been covered by truth seekers over the centuries. But in his pendulum revelations, there are unique differences that clash significantly with those of others.
For instance, it appears that we may have gotten the story of the Garden of Eden all wrong. Robert discovered that it was a final destination and not a beginning. The purpose of human life is, through many lifetimes, to reconnect to the source of all life and become the expression of its love-driven essence. Once a critical mass of people embraces this, we achieve an ideal state of being as a species. We reach total harmony with every other life form. It spells the end of exploitation and opens up the possibility for collaboration, understanding, wisdom, and access to the wealth of accumulated knowledge in the universe.
This is where the science comes in. By tapping into the store of knowledge that has been developed on other, more-advanced planets, we’ll be able to solve most of the problems that plague us. One of the key benefits that Robert discovered is the potential to use Eternal Light as a source of safe and inexhaustible clean energy.
Based on Robert’s revelations, the different sources of energy which we have discovered and applied, particularly fossil fuels, are interim solutions for our survival. Actually, the great reservoirs of crude oil that provided the bulk of our energy needs in the last hundred years are a result of intelligent particle motion. The way Robert understood this was that Eternal Light operates through two energy fields, which underpin all our known fields such as gravity, weak and strong field, and electromagnetism. These two primal fields were referred to as the Direct Light Field (DLF) and Cosmic Field (CF).
From this perspective, every planet with intelligent life forms and free will is provided with the means for its survival. There’s a correlation between spiritual and practical progress. As we evolve spiritually, we simultaneously open up doors to practical wisdom. In the case of energy, the grand scheme is to go from polluting energy such as fossil fuels, and dangerous ones like nuclear energy, to the direct use of the two primal fields.
It took Robert many years to arrive at this overarching idea. It was much easier for him to accept the spiritual aspects of the revelations. To some extent, they could be tied to other philosophical and theological findings and beliefs that go back thousands of years. But the “new science” was something entirely unique. In fact, it offered the possibility of direct proof of an intelligent cause for all reality.
As Robert dove deeper and deeper into this new science, it both intrigued and frightened him. He questioned how anyone would believe something so extremely opposed to established scientific theories, particularly when it came from somebody with absolutely no academic background or specialized knowledge in the field. Of course, until he went public that wasn’t an overwhelming concern. But more and more Robert tended to see that these revelations were ultimately meant to be shared with other people. In the back of his mind, he became somewhat fearful of how this would affect his private life and that of his family. When he blundered into this whole thing, he certainly had no intention or aspiration to become some sort of public figure.
When this concern was expressed in the pendulum discussions, the answer was clear and unambiguous. All theories and beliefs must be subjected to measurable, empirical proof. This should be the criteria for all present, past, and future belief systems. So, by that measure, his telling was also just talk unless its assertions on energy and other revelations could be proven. However, he was told that the EL theories will be verified sometime in the future.
Robert often wondered whether he’d ever be ready for such an eventuality. And frankly, if he was even committed enough to follow through on all its implications. So far, it was a rather lonely trip with only snatches of information shared with Ruth, Simon, and Sarah. He left a lot out when talking about it with them. It was hard enough for him to digest all the new facts that came pouring out relentlessly. What if it was all some self-delusionary trip, some kind of fictional invention emanating from his own deeper consciousness? The day that it took on a concrete trajectory he wasn’t sure who would be brave enough to help him and expose themselves to the public ridicule that would follow. He and Ruth were pretty laid back and he couldn’t see either of them feeling comfortable in the public glare. Simon certainly wasn’t ready to accept any of the things that he shared with him. But perhaps Sarah could be counted on.
He forced himself to toss these apprehensions aside thinking that when, and if, it ever comes to pass, he could count on his inner guidance. Throughout all the years of his pendulum interaction, he always felt that there was a mentoring and fostering quality to it. Even in the early stages, when he felt overwhelmed or even somewhat frightened it was as if someone placed a hand on his shoulder to calm him down. Mind you, there were some very frustrating moments along the way where Robert had to cope with obvious contradictions. But when he aired his confusion, he was told to work it out in a calm meditative state and simply ask more questions. Because some of the answers strayed from the beaten path, he had to passively accept it for now. Helpfully, he was told that “the essence is correct”, which meant that his interpretation was accurate So when the questioning was exhausted, he just wrote down a summary in his notes and moved on to another topic.
From the outset, after gaining a greater ability to converse in a clear and unambiguous manner, Robert directed the conversation to more lofty issues. And he was encouraged to do so. This centered around human nature, purpose, and destiny. He also moved the questioning toward our planet’s relation to the rest of the solar system, the galaxy, and the universe. But he was encouraged to stick more to the relationship that we have with Eternal Light and how we can benefit from a greater connection.
On the broader topic of the universe, one of the first memorable statements was about its origins. The answer surprised him because it was so different from what he expected to hear. He was told that it’s not as important to know how the universe came into existence, as why it did. It was explained to him that the universe was the result of the two primal fields controlled by Eternal Light to produce an environment in which its intelligent and love-driven essence would be expressed by cogent beings capable of realizing their connection to EL.
This basic principle is applied throughout the universe. He was intrigued by this interpretation and wanted to develop it further. But he readily conceded that it was more essential to work out the many puzzles of our own lives on this planet. Also, sticking to life on earth may be easier for him to grasp and understand. Although it became clear that a lack of a deeper knowledge of physics was not an insurmountable deficit. In fact, it may very well have been an advantage because he wasn’t plugged into established scientific or religious dogmas. He did consider, however, that because of his relative naiveté, he could be more easily led astray. Simon definitely thought so. He totally understood Simon’s position and used his cynical inputs to help him formulate more intelligent questions when he returned to the pendulum.
